Welcome to Salmon River Resort, your Idaho recreation destination! We are located in White Bird, Idaho at the mouth of White Bird Creek right on the beautiful Salmon River. The RV park, motel and campground was previously owned by my parents, Les and Heather Killgore of White Bird since the late 1960s. They ran the campground many years as Waterfront RV Park and Motel, then later made the property their office and headquarters for their jet boating and fishing company. Even though the name has been changed and the boating company has moved locations the property remains a special place to visit and join together for family fun. We offer RV sites, tent sites, and motel lodging; come stay with us! Our RV sites come with 30 and 50 amp service as well as water and sewer at each site. Our camp hosts Rod and Pam are ready to take care of you! We offer a private beach and fishing access to the Salmon River and White Bird Creek exclusively for our guests.
There are abundant recreation opportunities here including guided rafting trips, jet boat tours of Hells Canyon, guided fishing trips for Steelhead, Salmon, trout, bass and sturgeon and ATV/UTV rides right out of the campground into the high country.
